Voluntary Product Recall of two lots of ZuPreem® FruitBlend with Natural Fruit Flavors

The recall is limited to ZuPreem Medium/Large and Large FruitBlend With Natural Fruit Flavors maintenance formula bird foods with the 11/30/13 or 11/13 expiration date codes, and lot numbers of 598405052 or 598405072. No other ZuPreem products or sizes or lots of FruitBlend are affected. We have been working diligently with our distributors and retail partners to ensure that the affected lot codes are removed from further distribution, and we believe that in most cases we have been successful in doing so.

Microchip Your Pet!

Every year many pets get separated from their families. In South Florida hurricanes can increase this number exponentially. These lost pets make their way into shelters, rescue organizations and veterinary clinics but they never make it back home because they cannot be identified.

The microchip is a tiny computer chip that is approximately the size of a long grain of rice. It has an identification number programmed into it and is encapsulated within a biocompatible material. The whole device is small enough to fit inside a hypodermic needle and can be simply injected under the skin of our pets, where it will stay for the life of the animal. This provides a permanent, positive identification which cannot be lost, altered or intentionally removed - a safe, simple and inexpensive way to protect your pet against loss or theft.
