Alex was born in New York but raised in South Florida. He joined our practice July 2015. He enjoys working with birds and primates. Alex has a chihuahua at home named Reesie. When not in the office, Alex enjoys hanging out with his family and friends or lounging on the beach.
Dyanne is a Certified Veterinary Technician who was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but moved to South Florida to attend Nova Southeastern University in Davie where she received her Bachelor of Science degree. Deciding to pursue a career in animal nursing, she went back to school and graduated from Miami Dade College's Veterinary Technician program in 2007.
After graduation in May 2007, Dyanne was hired on as a full-time member of the staff. Her passion is working with exotic animals, but she especially loves rabbits and educating people about the joys of having house rabbits.
Dyanne is married to her wonderful husband Alex and they share their home with two adorable rabbits, Keiko and Koji, along with a precocious Timneh African Grey parrot named Gibson. She also enjoys reading, running, mountain biking, watching movies and drinking craft beer with friends.
Kristin was born and raised in South Florida. She graduated from Deerfield Beach High School in 2000. She married Matthew, her high school sweetheart, in October 2006. Together they breed ball pythons and have numerous reptilian pets, one guinea pig and two dogs. She teaches Sunday school for two year old's at her church.
Kristin joined our practice in April of 2008. She spent the prior 2.5 years as a bird and reptile keeper at Miami Seaquarium. She enjoys yoga, reading, and being outdoors in her spare time.
Kristin and her husband Matthew just welcomed their first son named Bram on New Year's Eve, 2016.
Brooke was born and raised in Florida and joined our practice August 2016. She has worked with animals all her life and has volunteered countless hours at the humane society. Brooke has two little boys, Fisher and Dakoda, who keep her very busy. She has a pitbull named Boss, a schnauzer mix named Scooter, two cats named Little & Lumber, a rabbit named Luna and and African fat tail gecko named Gecky. On the rare occasion that she has free time, her family likes to go fishing, camping or spend the day at the beach.
Ashley is originally from Jamaica but has been in the United States since 2011. She graduated from Ardenne High School in Kingston, Jamaica and is an alumni of Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. Ashley has worked with animals all her life and has a deep rooted passion for them. She is also planning to pursue her DVM degree in the near future. Ashley has a Pitbull named Fatboy, whom she loves dearly and is planning on getting a uromastyx. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, reading and playing soccer.
Jamie-Lee is originally from Wolcott, CT but relocated to South Florida in 2011. She and her fiance, Rob, welcomed their beautiful daughter, Elliana, in 2012. She has had a passion for animals since she was young and started working at a small animal clinic when she was 18. She has one dog at home named CJ. She enjoys being outside with her family in her spare time. She joined our team in September of 2018.
Bailey was born and raised here in South Florida. She graduated from Seminole Ridge Community High school. She joined our team in June of 2018 and has had a love for animals her entire life. She has two bearded dragons at home named Buddy and Fat girl. As passionate as she is about animals she does aspire to be a neonatal nurse eventually. She spends her spare time cheering her boyfriend on at his soccer and basketball games.
Jasmine is originally from Kearny, NJ but relocated to South Florida about 10 years ago. Her love of animals stemmed from her childhood and she couldn't be more happy to be working with all of the different species we see here. She joined our team in May of 2017. Her favorite animals to work with are primates and ferrets. She comes from a large family so her spare time is spent with them
